This delicious cloudberry jam is a perfect addition to breakfast or dessert. The jam is easy to make with simple ingredients and makes a great gift. Preparation Time: 1 hour 10 minutes
Serving Size: About 5-6 jars
Ingredients
- 1.5 kg jam sugar- 1.5 kg carrots
- 1 dl water
- 3 L red currants
Instructions
1. Peel and grate the carrots.2. Remove the stems from the red currants.
3. Combine the grated carrots, water, and red currants in a pot.
4. Cook the mixture for about one hour.
5. Puree the ingredients until smooth.
6. Pour the puree back into the pot.
7. Add the jam sugar and cook for an additional 10 minutes.
8. Pour the hot jam into clean jars and store in a cool place.
