Serving Size: 4 servings
Ingredients:
- 300 g pasta (e.g., spaghetti or penne)- 250 g fresh mushrooms
- 2 garlic cloves
- 1 onion
- 100 ml cream
- 50 g grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- Salt to taste
- Black pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions:
1. Cook the pasta according to package instructions in salted water until al dente. Drain and reserve a little cooking water.2. Chop the onion and garlic. Slice the mushrooms.
3. Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the onion and garlic, sautéing until soft.
4. Add the mushrooms to the pan and cook until golden brown.
5. Pour the cream into the skillet and mix well. Let the mixture simmer for a few minutes until slightly thickened.
6. Add the cooked pasta to the skillet and stir. If the mixture is too dry, add a bit of the reserved pasta cooking water.
7. Grate the Parmesan cheese over the pasta, season with salt and black pepper, and mix well.
8. Serve immediately, garnished with fresh parsley.
