This delicious asparagus pizza combines a crispy crust, rich hollandaise sauce, and melt-in-your-mouth prosciutto. Perfect for spring!
Ingredients:
- 1 prepared pizza crust- 200 g fresh asparagus
- 100 g prosciutto
- 150 g mozzarella cheese
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
For the Hollandaise Sauce:
- 3 egg yolks
- 100 g butter
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- Salt and white pepper to taste
Instructions:
1. Preheat the oven to 220°C (428°F).2. Cook the asparagus in boiling water for about 2-3 minutes. Drain and immediately cool in cold water.
3. Prepare the hollandaise sauce: melt the butter in a saucepan. In a bowl, whisk the egg yolks and slowly add the melted butter while whisking continuously. Add lemon juice and season with salt and white pepper.
4. Place the pizza crust on a baking sheet and brush the top with olive oil. Evenly sprinkle the mozzarella cheese over the crust.
5. Arrange the cooked asparagus on top of the pizza and add slices of prosciutto.
6. Bake the pizza in the oven for about 10-15 minutes, until the cheese is melted and the edges are golden brown.
7. Remove the pizza from the oven and pour the hollandaise sauce on top just before serving.
