Ingredients:
- 200 g dark chocolate
- 150 g butter
- 200 g sugar
- 4 eggs
- 100 g all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp vanilla sugar
- 1/2 tsp salt
Instructions:
1. Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F). Grease and flour a cake pan.
2. Melt the dark chocolate and butter together over low heat in a saucepan or in the microwave. Stir well to combine.
3. Add the sugar to the chocolate mixture and stir until smooth.
4. Incorporate the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
5. Sift in the flour, vanilla sugar, and salt into the mixture. Gently mix until the batter is smooth.
6. Pour the batter into the prepared pan and bake in the oven for about 25-30 minutes, or until the cake is set.
7. Allow the cake to cool before serving. Optionally, dust with powdered sugar or top with chocolate frosting before serving.
