Ingredients:
- 300 g pasta (e.g., spaghetti or penne)
- 250 g fresh mushrooms
- 2 cloves garlic
- 1 onion
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 100 ml cream
- 50 g Parmesan cheese (grated)
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions:
1. Cook the pasta according to the package instructions in salted water. Drain, reserving a little cooking water.
2. Peel and finely chop the onion and garlic. Slice the mushrooms.
3. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the onion and garlic, sauté for about 3-4 minutes until soft.
4. Add the mushrooms to the skillet and cook until golden brown and the moisture has evaporated.
5. Pour the cream into the mushroom mixture and stir. Let it simmer over low heat for a few minutes.
6. Add the cooked pasta to the mushroom sauce and mix well. If needed, add a bit of reserved cooking water to prevent the pasta from being too dry.
7. Season with salt and pepper. Add the grated Parmesan cheese and stir to combine.
8. Serve immediately, garnished with fresh parsley.
