Delicious Pasta Carbonara

Ingredients:
- 200 g spaghetti
- 100 g bacon or guanciale
- 2 egg yolks
- 50 g Parmesan cheese, grated
- 1 garlic clove, minced
- Salt
- Black pepper
- Fresh parsley (optional)
Instructions:
1. Boil the spaghetti in salted water according to package instructions until al dente.
2. Chop the bacon or guanciale into small pieces and cook them in a pan over medium heat until crispy.
3. Add the minced garlic to the pan with the bacon and cook for an additional minute.
4. In a bowl, mix the egg yolks and grated Parmesan cheese. Season the mixture with salt and black pepper.
5. Drain the pasta, reserving a bit of the cooking water. Combine the pasta with the bacon and garlic in the pan.
6. Remove the pan from heat and add the egg yolk mixture to the pasta. Stir quickly to allow the yolks to lightly cook from the heat.
7. If needed, add a little reserved cooking water to achieve a creamy sauce.
8. Serve immediately and optionally garnish with fresh parsley.
