A creamy rice pudding dessert served with berries or jam.
Preparation Time: 10 minutes, Cooking Time: 40 minutes, Servings: 4
Ingredients:
- 1 dl rice
- 5 dl milk
- 1 dl cream
- 1/2 dl sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla sugar
- 1/2 tsp bourbon vanilla powder
- Salt to taste
- Berries or jam for serving
- Cinnamon and cardamom (optional)
Instructions:
1. Rinse the rice under cold water.
2. In a pot, combine the rice, milk, cream, sugar, and salt.
3. Bring the mixture to a boil, then reduce the heat.
4. Let it simmer on low heat for about 30-40 minutes, until the rice is soft and the mixture has thickened.
5. Stir in the vanilla sugar and bourbon vanilla powder.
6. Serve the rice pudding with berries or jam, and sprinkle with cinnamon and cardamom if desired.
7. Enjoy!
