Oaty Cookies

A delicious and healthy treat made with oats, mint, and optional nuts or dried fruits. Perfect for a snack or dessert. Preparation Time: 30 minutes
Serving Size: 12 cookies
Ingredients:
- 100 g butter or canola oil
- 2 dl water
- 6 dl rolled oats
- 0.5 tsp ground mint
- 1 tbsp nettle powder
- 1 dl sugar
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp vanilla sugar
- 1 dl nuts or dried fruits (optional)
Instructions:
1. Melt the butter or heat the canola oil in a saucepan.
2. Add the water to the saucepan and heat while stirring.
3. Pour the mixture into a large bowl and add the rolled oats, mint, nettle powder, sugar, baking powder, and vanilla sugar. Mix well.
4. If using nuts or dried fruits, add them to the mixture now.
5. Let the dough rest for about 10 minutes.
6. Preheat the oven to 175°C (350°F).
7. Scoop small balls of dough onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and flatten them gently.
8. Bake the cookies in the oven for about 15-20 minutes or until they are golden brown.
9. Allow to cool before serving.
