A comforting Finnish cabbage soup with ground meat and cherry tomatoes. Preparation Time: 30 minutes
Serving Size: 4 servings
Ingredients:
- Approximately 700 g of cabbage, chopped
- 1 liter of water
- 1 beef bouillon cube
- 1 vegetable bouillon cube
- Approximately 200 g of ground meat
- About 20 cherry tomatoes, halved
- 1 tablespoon of oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions:
1. Chop the cabbage into small pieces.
2. Heat the oil in a large pot and add the ground meat. Sauté until browned.
3. Add the chopped cabbage to the pot and mix well.
4. Pour the water into the pot and add the beef and vegetable bouillon cubes. Bring to a boil.
5. Reduce the heat and let the soup simmer for about 15-20 minutes, until the cabbage is tender.
6. Add the halved cherry tomatoes and cook for an additional 5 minutes.
7. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
8. Serve hot.
