Lamb Roast on the Pan

A delicious, tender lamb roast cooked in a savory garlic and red wine sauce. Preparation Time: 30 minutes
Serving Size: 4 servings
Ingredients:
- 400 g lamb roast
- 1 garlic clove
- 4 tbsp olive oil
- 100 ml red wine
- 1 tsp sugar
- Salt
- Pepper
Instructions:
1. Heat the olive oil in a large pan over medium heat.
2. Season the lamb roast with salt and pepper, and sear it in the pan on all sides for about 5-7 minutes.
3. Chop the garlic and add it to the pan with the lamb roast, continuing to cook for another 2-3 minutes.
4. Pour the red wine into the pan and add the sugar. Let it simmer on low heat for about 15-20 minutes, until the meat is cooked and tender.
5. Remove the lamb roast from the pan and let it rest for a few minutes before slicing.
6. Serve the sliced lamb roast with your choice of side dish.
