A festive, soft dessert that combines the best of a pancake and a pudding. This treat is perfect for Christmas and is best served warm.
Preparation Time: 45 minutes
Serving Size: 6-8 servings

Ingredients:

- 4-5 ripe figs
- 3 eggs
- 1.5 dl milk
- 1 dl cream
- 1 dl sugar
- 1 dl all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp vanilla sugar
- 1/2 tsp salt
- Cinnamon (for sprinkling)
- Powdered sugar (for sprinkling)

Instructions:

1. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius (350 degrees Fahrenheit).
2. Grease an oven-safe dish or individual ramekins with butter.
3. Slice the figs and place them at the bottom of the dish.
4. In a bowl, crack the eggs and whisk lightly.
5. Add the milk, cream, sugar, flour, vanilla sugar, and salt. Mix until smooth.
6. Pour the batter over the figs.
7. Bake in the oven for about 30-35 minutes, until the top is beautifully golden brown and the batter is set.
8. Remove from the oven and let it cool slightly. Sprinkle with cinnamon and powdered sugar before serving.
Serve the clafoutis warm, perhaps with a sweet dessert wine.
