recipe

A delicious and creamy Italian dish that comes together quickly, perfect for a weeknight treat.
Preparation Time: 20 minutes
Serving Size: 4

Ingredients:

- 400 g spaghetti
- 150 g bacon or guanciale
- 3 eggs
- 100 g Parmesan cheese (grated)
- 2 garlic cloves
- Salt to taste
- Black pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions:

1. Cook the spaghetti in salted boiling water according to package instructions until al dente.
2. Meanwhile, peel and finely chop the garlic cloves. Cut the bacon into small pieces.
3. Fry the bacon in a pan over medium heat until crispy. Add the chopped garlic and sauté for another minute.
4. In a bowl, whisk together the eggs and mix in the grated Parmesan cheese. Season with salt and black pepper.
5. Once the pasta is ready, drain it while reserving some cooking water. Add the pasta to the pan with the bacon and garlic.
6. Remove the pan from the heat and pour the egg mixture over the pasta. Stir quickly to prevent the eggs from cooking too much, creating a creamy sauce. If the sauce is too thick, add a little reserved cooking water.
7. Serve immediately, garnished with fresh parsley if desired.
