A refreshing, spiced beverage perfect for any occasion.
Preparation Time: 20 minutes
Serving Size: 4 servings
Ingredients:
- 3 dl frozen blackcurrants
- 3-4 tbsp sugar
- 0.5 tsp cinnamon
- 1 dl water
- approximately 5 dl cider
Instructions:
1. Place the frozen blackcurrants in a saucepan.
2. Add sugar, cinnamon, and water on top of the berries.
3. Heat the mixture over medium heat until the berries thaw and the mixture begins to boil.
4. Let it boil for about 5-10 minutes, until the mixture thickens slightly.
5. Remove the saucepan from the heat and strain the berries out if you prefer a smoother drink.
6. Pour the cider into the mixture and stir well.
7. Serve the drink chilled.
