Ingredients:
- 200 g dark chocolate
- 150 g butter
- 250 g sugar
- 4 eggs
- 150 g all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp vanilla sugar
- A pinch of salt
Instructions:
1. Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F). Grease and flour a cake pan.
2. Melt the dark chocolate and butter together in a saucepan over low heat, stirring until smooth.
3. Add the sugar to the chocolate mixture and mix well.
4. Incorporate the eggs one at a time, mixing thoroughly after each addition.
5. Add the flour, baking powder, vanilla sugar, and salt. Mix until the batter is smooth.
6. Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan and level the surface.
7. Bake in the oven for about 25-30 minutes, until the cake is set but slightly moist in the center.
8. Allow the cake to cool before serving. Optionally, dust with powdered sugar or serve with whipped cream.
