Ingredients:
- 4 chicken breast fillets - Salt and pepper to taste
- 1/2 cup (about 60 g) flour
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1/2 cup (about 120 ml) chicken or vegetable broth
- 1/4 cup (about 60 ml) fresh lemon juice
- 1/4 cup (about 15 g) capers
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions:
1. Season the chicken breast fillets with salt and pepper. 2. Dredge the fillets in flour until fully coated.
3. Heat olive oil and butter in a large skillet over medium heat.
4. Cook the chicken fillets for about 4-5 minutes on each side until golden brown and cooked through. Remove from the pan and keep warm.
5. Pour the broth and lemon juice into the pan. Stir well and bring to a boil.
6. Add the capers and cook for a few more minutes until the sauce slightly thickens.
7. Return the chicken fillets to the pan and pour the sauce over them.
8. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
