Ingredients:
- 8 oz (225g) pasta of your choice
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 8 oz (225g) mushrooms, sliced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions:
1. Cook the pasta according to package instructions in a large pot of salted boiling water. Drain and set aside.
2. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
3. Add the sliced mushrooms to the skillet and cook until they are softened and browned, about 5-7 minutes.
4. Lower the heat and pour in the heavy cream. Stir well and let it simmer for a few minutes until slightly thickened.
5. Add the grated Parmesan cheese and mix until melted and creamy. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
6. Add the cooked pasta to the skillet and toss until evenly coated with the sauce.
7. Serve hot, garnished with fresh parsley.
