Ingredients

- 400 g frozen fish
- 4 potatoes
- 2 carrots
- 1 onion
- 3 dl tomato sauce (homemade or canned)
- 1 l water
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh basil or parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions

1. Peel and chop the potatoes and carrots.
2. Finely chop the onion.
3. Heat the olive oil in a large pot and sauté the onion until soft.
4. Add the potatoes and carrots to the pot, mixing well.
5. Pour in the water and add the tomato sauce. Bring to a boil and cook for about 15 minutes, until the vegetables are nearly tender.
6. Add the frozen fish to the soup and cook for an additional 10 minutes, until the fish is cooked through.
7. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
8. Serve the soup hot, garnished with fresh basil or parsley if desired.
