Delicious fish balls made from frozen fish, perfect for batch cooking and storing in the freezer. Preparation Time: 30 minutes
Serving Size: 4-6 servings
Ingredients:
- 400 g frozen fish
- 1 dl breadcrumbs
- 1 dl cream
- 1 egg
- 1 onion (finely chopped)
- 2 garlic cloves (finely chopped)
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 tsp dried dill
- 1/2 tsp lemon pepper
- Oil for frying
Instructions:
1. Thaw the frozen fish and drain off any excess liquid.
2. Finely chop the fish using a food processor or by hand.
3. In a bowl, combine the fish, breadcrumbs, cream, egg, onion, garlic, and spices.
4. Shape the mixture into round balls.
5. Heat oil in a frying pan over medium heat and fry the fish balls for about 3-4 minutes on each side, until golden brown.
6. Remove the balls and let them drain on paper towels.
7. Alternatively, you can bake the entire batch in the oven at 200°C (392°F) for about 15-20 minutes.
