A delightful combination for summer celebrations: crispy donuts and sparkling wine. This recipe brings joy and delicious flavors to your festivities.
Preparation Time: 1 hour
Serving Size: 12 donuts

Ingredients:

- 2 dl milk
- 25 g fresh yeast
- 1 dl sugar
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp cardamom
- 1 egg
- 500 g all-purpose flour
- 75 g melted butter
- Oil for frying
- Powdered sugar for decoration

Instructions:

1. Warm the milk until lukewarm and dissolve the fresh yeast in it.
2. Add sugar, salt, cardamom, and the egg. Mix well.
3. Gradually add the flour and knead the dough until smooth.
4. Incorporate the melted butter and knead for a few more minutes.
5. Cover the dough with a cloth and let it rise in a warm place for about 30 minutes.
6. Heat oil in a deep pot to 180°C (356°F).
7. Roll out the dough to about 1 cm thick and cut out round donuts.
8. Fry the donuts in the oil until golden brown, about 2-3 minutes on each side.
9. Remove donuts and let them drain on paper towels, then sprinkle with powdered sugar.
10. Serve the donuts with sparkling wine and enjoy!
