Ingredients:
- 300 g pasta (e.g., spaghetti or penne)
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 4 cloves garlic, crushed
- 200 ml cream
- 50 g Parmesan cheese, grated
- Salt to taste
- Black pepper to taste
- Fresh basil for garnish (optional)
Instructions:
1. Cook the pasta in salted water according to package instructions. Drain and reserve some cooking water.
2. Heat olive oil in a pan over medium heat. Add the crushed garlic and sauté for about 1–2 minutes until golden brown.
3. Pour the cream into the pan and stir well. Let it simmer for about 3–5 minutes until slightly thickened.
4. Add the cooked pasta to the pan and mix well. If the sauce is too thick, add a little reserved cooking water.
5. Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese and mix until the cheese has melted. Season with salt and black pepper.
6. Serve immediately and garnish with fresh basil if desired.
