Creamy Spinach Pasta with Parmesan

Ingredients:
- 250 g pasta (e.g., spaghetti or fusilli)
- 200 g fresh spinach
- 200 ml cream
- 1 garlic clove (minced)
- 50 g Parmesan cheese (grated)
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- Salt to taste
- Black pepper to taste
Instructions:
1. Cook the pasta in salted water according to package instructions. Drain and reserve a little pasta water.
2. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for about one minute until fragrant.
3. Add the fresh spinach to the skillet and cook until wilted.
4. Pour the cream into the spinach and stir. Allow the sauce to simmer on low heat for a few minutes.
5. Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese until melted. If the sauce is too thick, add a bit of reserved pasta water.
6. Season the sauce with salt and black pepper to taste.
7. Add the cooked pasta to the sauce and mix well.
8. Serve immediately, garnished with extra Parmesan cheese if desired.
