A delicious and spicy cabbage dish that blends Indian flavors, perfect as a side or main dish. Preparation time is about 30 minutes, serving 4 people.Ingredients:
- 0.5 dl cooking oil
- 0.5 kg white cabbage
- 125 g frozen peas
- 0.5 tsp garam masala
- 2 tsp cumin seeds
- 2 bay leaves
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 green chili (or red)
- 1 tsp sugar
Instructions:
1. Shred the white cabbage.
2. Thaw the frozen peas by pouring warm water over them in a sieve for a moment.
3. Heat the oil over medium heat in a pot or deep pan.
4. Add the cumin seeds to the oil and fry until they start to pop.
5. Add the shredded cabbage, bay leaves, salt, garam masala, green chili, and sugar.
6. Mix well and cover, cooking for about 10-15 minutes until the cabbage is tender.
7. Add the thawed peas and stir for a moment to heat them through.
8. Serve warm.
