Serving Size: 2 servings
Ingredients:
- 4 slices of French bread
- 2 eggs
- 1 cup of milk
- 2 tablespoons of butter
- 3.5 oz of sliced ham
Instructions:
1. In a bowl, crack the eggs and add the milk. Whisk the mixture thoroughly.
2. Heat a frying pan over medium heat and melt the butter in it.
3. Dip each slice of French bread into the egg mixture on both sides, allowing them to soak up the mixture.
4. Place one slice of bread in the pan, add a layer of ham on top, and cover with another slice of bread.
5. Cook the sandwich for about 3-4 minutes on each side, until golden brown and crispy.
6. Repeat the process with the remaining bread and ham.
7. Serve warm, ideally with a side salad.
