Ingredients:
- 300 g pasta (e.g., spaghetti or fusilli) - 200 g fresh spinach
- 200 ml heavy cream
- 100 ml grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 garlic cloves (minced)
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh basil for garnish (optional)
Instructions:
1. Cook the pasta according to the package instructions in salted water. Drain and set aside. 2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for 1-2 minutes.
3. Add fresh spinach to the skillet and cook until wilted.
4. Pour heavy cream over the spinach and mix well. Let it simmer on low heat for about 5 minutes.
5. Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese until melted and well combined.
6. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
7. Mix the cooked pasta into the sauce and heat through for a minute.
8. Serve warm and garnish with fresh basil if desired.
