Serving Size: 4-6 people
Ingredients:
- 1 dl dry white wine
- 1 clove garlic
- 200 g cream cheese (e.g., Turunmaa)
- 1 tsp lemon juice
- 400 g Emmental cheese (black label)
- 0.25 tsp freshly ground black pepper
- 1 tbsp cornstarch
For Dipping:
- Cubed white bread
- Mushrooms
- Carrot sticks
- Pickled onions
Instructions:
1. Grate the Emmental cheese and cream cheese.
2. Peel and crush the garlic clove.
3. In a fondue pot, combine the wine, cornstarch, and lemon juice.
4. Heat the mixture, stirring continuously until it begins to boil.
5. Gradually add the grated cheese to the wine mixture, stirring until melted and smooth.
6. Season with freshly ground black pepper.
7. Serve the fondue warm with the dipping ingredients.
