A delicate and delicious sourdough bread that requires some time and care, but rewards you with incredible flavor.
Preparation Time: 24 hours (including rising time)
Serving Size: 1 loaf
Ingredients:
- 500 g all-purpose flour
- 300 ml water
- 100 g sourdough starter
- 10 g salt
Instructions:
1. In a bowl, mix the all-purpose flour and salt together.
2. Add the sourdough starter and water to the flour mixture. Stir until the dough is smooth.
3. Cover the bowl with a cloth and let the dough rise at room temperature for about 12 hours.
4. Once the dough has risen, gently knead it on a floured surface. Shape it into a loaf.
5. Place the loaf on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, cover with a cloth, and let it rise for another 2 hours.
6. Preheat the oven to 230°C (450°F).
7. Score the top of the loaf with a knife and bake in the oven for about 30-35 minutes, until the crust is beautifully golden brown.
8. Allow the bread to cool on a wire rack before slicing and serving.
