Delicious Christmas pastries made easily with cream-butter dough and filled with homemade jam. They are the perfect addition to your holiday table!
Preparation Time: 1 hour
Serving Size: 12 pastries

Ingredients:

- 200 g butter
- 100 g cream
- 250 g all-purpose flour
- 1 dl sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla sugar
- 1 dl apricot jam or plum jam
- 1 egg (for brushing)
- Powdered sugar (for serving)

Instructions:

1. Melt the butter in a saucepan and add the cream. Mix well.
2. Add sugar, vanilla sugar, and flour to the mixture. Knead until a smooth dough forms.
3. Wrap the dough in cling film and refrigerate for about 30 minutes.
4. Roll out the dough on a floured surface to about 0.5 cm thick.
5. Cut the dough into squares and fold the corners towards the center.
6. Place a teaspoon of jam in the center of each square.
7. Brush the pastries with beaten egg.
8. Bake at 200°C for about 15-20 minutes until golden brown.
9. Allow to cool and dust with powdered sugar before serving.
