Ingredients:
- 1 egg white - 250 g powdered sugar
- 1/2 tsp lemon juice (optional)
- Food coloring (optional)
Instructions:
1. In a bowl, beat the egg white until it starts to froth. 2. Gradually add the powdered sugar while continuing to beat, until the mixture is fluffy and glossy.
3. If desired, add lemon juice to enhance flavor and shelf life.
4. Continue beating until the icing is stiff enough to hold its shape.
5. If you want, add food coloring and mix until uniform.
6. Use the icing to decorate gingerbread cookies and let it dry at room temperature.
