A delicious cheese cake perfect for the holiday cheese board, combining various cheeses and wines for a delightful experience. Preparation Time: 30 minutes + 2 hours chilling
Serving Size: 8-10 servings
Ingredients:
- 200 g cheese rounds (e.g., brie, gouda, blue cheese) - 100 g cream cheese
- 100 g sour cream
- 50 g sugar
- 2 tsp vanilla sugar
- 1 dl heavy cream
- 1 dl nuts (e.g., walnuts or almonds)
- Fresh herbs for garnish (e.g., rosemary or thyme)
Instructions:
1. Crumble the cheese rounds in a bowl until they become a fine mixture. 2. Add the cream cheese, sour cream, sugar, and vanilla sugar. Mix until smooth.
3. Whip the heavy cream until fluffy and gently fold it into the cheese mixture.
4. Pour the mixture into a greased springform pan and smooth the top.
5. Cover the cake with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least two hours to set.
6. Before serving, garnish with nuts and fresh herbs.
7. Serve the cake with quality wines.
