A delightful twist on traditional gingerbread, these rich chocolate cookies are perfect for festive occasions or a sweet treat any day. Preparation Time: 1 hour (including chilling)

Ingredients:
- 200 g dark chocolate - 100 g butter
- 150 g sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 tsp vanilla sugar
- 300 g all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp salt
- Powdered sugar for decoration
Instructions:
1. Melt the dark chocolate and butter together in a saucepan over low heat. Stir until smooth. 2. Add sugar, egg, and vanilla sugar to the chocolate mixture. Mix well.
3. In a separate bowl, combine flour, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt. Gradually add the dry mixture to the chocolate mixture and stir until a dough forms.
4. Wrap the dough in plastic wrap and refrigerate for about 30 minutes.
5. Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
6. Remove the dough from the refrigerator and shape it into small balls. Place the balls on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and flatten them slightly.
7. Bake in the oven for about 10-12 minutes, or until the cookies are set. Allow to cool.
8. Dust the cooled cookies with powdered sugar before serving.
