A delightful and warming mulled cider that brings festive cheer. This delicious drink is a perfect alternative to traditional mulled wine. Preparation Time: 15 min
Serving Size: 4-6 servings
Ingredients:
- 1 liter dry cider
- 0.6 dl dark rum
- 2.5 dl apple-ginger herbal tea
- 40 g brown sugar
- 2 clementines
- 4 cloves
- 2 cardamom seeds
- 2 cinnamon sticks
- 2 fresh bay leaves (optional)
Instructions:
1. Pour the cider, rum, and tea into a pot.
2. Add the brown sugar and heat over low heat.
3. Halve the clementines and insert the cloves into them. Add the clementines to the pot.
4. Break the cinnamon sticks in half and add them to the pot along with the other spices.
5. Heat the mixture until it is nearly boiling.
6. Serve warm.
