Beetroot and Blue Cheese Bread
recipe

Preparation Time: 1 hour (plus overnight rising)
Serving Size: 8 slices
This unique bread combines the earthy sweetness of beetroot with the sharpness of blue cheese, making it a delicious addition to any meal or a delightful snack on its own.

Ingredients:

- 250 g all-purpose flour
- 10 g rye flour
- 165 g water
- 80 g cooked beetroot (diced)
- 40 g blue cheese (diced and frozen)
- 10 g oil
- 3 g yeast

Instructions:

1. Dice the cooked beetroot and blue cheese. Freeze the cheese for a short time to make it easier to mix into the dough.
2. In a mixing bowl, combine the all-purpose flour, rye flour, water, oil, and yeast.
3. Knead the dough thoroughly until it is smooth and elastic.
4. Gently fold the diced beetroot and blue cheese into the dough. This may be a bit challenging due to the ingredients.
5. Place the dough in an oiled bowl and cover it. Allow it to rise in the refrigerator overnight.
6. The next day, take the dough out and let it come to room temperature for about two hours.
7. Shape the dough into a loaf and place it on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
8. Bake in a preheated oven at 200°C (400°F) for about 25-30 minutes, or until the bread is beautifully golden brown.
9. Allow the bread to cool before serving. Enjoy!
