Ingredients:
- 200 g spaghetti
- 100 g bacon
- 2 egg yolks
- 50 g grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 garlic cloves
- 100 ml cream
- Salt to taste
- Black pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions:
1. Cook the spaghetti in salted water according to the package instructions. Drain and save a little cooking water.
2. Chop the bacon and fry it in a pan until crispy. Add the crushed garlic cloves and sauté for a moment longer.
3. In a bowl, mix the egg yolks, cream, and grated Parmesan cheese. Season with a pinch of salt and black pepper.
4. Combine the cooked spaghetti with the bacon in the pan and mix well.
5. Remove the pan from heat and quickly add the egg mixture to the spaghetti, stirring to prevent the eggs from cooking.
6. If needed, add a bit of the reserved cooking water to achieve a creamy sauce.
7. Serve immediately, garnished with fresh parsley and additional Parmesan cheese if desired.
