A unique and nutritious pasta made with cricket flour, perfect for a protein-packed meal.
Preparation Time: 1 hour
Serving Size: 4 servings
Ingredients:
- 200 g dried crickets
- 250 g pasta flour
- 2 eggs
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp salt
- 50 ml water (if needed)
Instructions:
1. Grind the dried crickets into a fine powder using a blender.
2. In a bowl, combine the pasta flour, cricket powder, salt, and olive oil.
3. Add the eggs and mix the dough by hand or with a dough hook.
4. Gradually add water until the dough is elastic and smooth.
5. Knead the dough for about 5–10 minutes until it is silky.
6. Wrap the dough in plastic wrap and let it rest in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes.
7. Roll out the dough into thin sheets and cut it into your desired pasta shapes.
8. Cook the pasta in salted boiling water for about 3–5 minutes or until al dente.
9. Serve with your favorite sauce and enjoy!
