A delicious and flavorful Italian pizza with simple yet tasty toppings. Preparation time is about 1 hour and 30 minutes. This recipe serves approximately 2-3 people.Ingredients:
- 250 g pizza flour
- 150 ml water
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 packet dry yeast
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 400 g tomatoes (e.g., canned tomatoes)
- 2 garlic cloves
- 1 tbsp fresh basil (or 1 tsp dried)
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 100 g mozzarella cheese
- Fresh basil for garnish
Instructions:
1. Prepare the dough: Mix the pizza flour, dry yeast, and salt in a bowl. Add the water and olive oil. Knead the dough for about 10 minutes until it is smooth and elastic. Allow the dough to rise covered with a cloth for about 1 hour.
2. Make the tomato sauce: Heat olive oil in a pan and add the minced garlic. Sauté for a moment, being careful not to burn it. Add the tomatoes, basil, salt, and pepper. Let the sauce simmer on low heat for about 15-20 minutes.
3. Shape the pizza: Roll out the risen dough on a floured surface to your desired size. Transfer the dough to a baking paper.
4. Add the toppings: Spread the tomato sauce over the dough. Crumble the mozzarella cheese evenly on top of the pizza.
5. Bake the pizza: Preheat the oven to 220 degrees Celsius (428 degrees Fahrenheit). Bake the pizza for about 10-15 minutes until the edges are golden brown and the cheese is melted.
6. Garnish: Remove the pizza from the oven and add fresh basil on top. Let it cool for a moment before slicing and serving.
