Ingredients:
- 8 oz (225 g) pasta (spaghetti or fettuccine)
- 3 tablespoons olive oil
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Salt, to taste
- Black pepper, to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions:
1. Cook the pasta according to package instructions in salted boiling water until al dente. Drain and set aside.
2. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
3. Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer. Stir in the Parmesan cheese until melted and smooth.
4. Season the sauce with salt and black pepper to taste.
5. Add the cooked pasta to the skillet and toss to coat the pasta in the creamy sauce.
6. Serve immediately, garnished with chopped parsley.
