Ingredients:
- 200 g butter - 1 dl sugar
- 1 dl syrup
- 1 tbsp cinnamon
- 1 tbsp ginger
- 1 tsp cloves
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1 tsp salt
- 5 dl all-purpose flour
Instructions:
1. Melt the butter in a saucepan and add the sugar and syrup. Stir until the sugar dissolves. 2. Add the spices, baking soda, and salt. Mix well.
3. Gradually add the flour to the mixture until it forms a smooth and soft dough.
4. Wrap the dough in plastic wrap and refrigerate for about 30 minutes.
5. Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
6. Roll out the dough to about 0.5 cm thick and cut out your desired shapes.
7. Place the cookies on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and bake in the oven for about 8-10 minutes.
8. Allow the cookies to cool before decorating or enjoying.
