A delightful and aromatic cake that is perfect for coffee gatherings.

Serving Size: 8-10 servings

Ingredients:

- 1 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup butter (125 g)
- 1 egg
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 2/3 cup milk (1.5 dl)
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon cloves
- 1/2 teaspoon ginger
- 2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour (3 dl)

Instructions:

1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a cake pan.
2. Beat the butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add the egg and mix well.
3. In a separate bowl, combine the dry ingredients: flour, baking soda, cinnamon, cloves, and ginger.
4. Gradually add the dry mixture to the butter mixture, alternating with the milk, and mix until smooth.
5. Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan and level the surface.
6. Bake in the oven for about 30-40 minutes or until the cake is golden brown and a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
7. Allow the cake to cool before serving.
