Ingredients:

- 500 g ground beef
- 4 hamburger buns
- 4 slices of cheese (e.g., cheddar)
- 1 tomato, sliced
- 1 small red onion, sliced
- Lettuce (e.g., iceberg)
- Ketchup
- Mustard
- Salt
- Pepper
- Oil for frying

Instructions:

1. Season the ground beef with salt and pepper. Shape it into four patties.
2. Heat oil in a frying pan or grill over medium heat. Cook the patties for about 4-5 minutes on each side until they are cooked through.
3. Add cheese slices on top of the patties during the last minute of cooking to allow the cheese to melt.
4. Lightly toast the hamburger buns in the pan or on the grill until golden brown.
5. Assemble the burgers: place a patty with melted cheese on the bottom bun, add slices of tomato, onion, and lettuce. Top with your desired sauces (ketchup and mustard) and finish with the top bun.
6. Serve immediately and enjoy!
