Ingredients:
- 8 oz fettuccine pasta
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 3 cups sliced mushrooms
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions:
1. Cook the fettuccine according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add sliced mushrooms and sauté until golden brown, about 5-7 minutes.
3. Add minced garlic to the skillet and cook for an additional 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
4. Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a simmer. Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese and dried thyme. Mix until the cheese is melted and the sauce is creamy.
5. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
6. Add the cooked fettuccine to the skillet and toss to coat the pasta with the sauce.
7. Serve hot, garnished with fresh parsley.
