Ingredients:
- 8 ounces fettuccine pasta
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 8 ounces mushrooms, sliced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions:
1. Cook the fettuccine pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
2. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
3. Add the sliced mushrooms to the skillet and cook until they are browned and tender, about 5-7 minutes.
4. Pour in the heavy cream and stir to combine. Let it simmer for 2-3 minutes until slightly thickened.
5. Add the grated Parmesan cheese, stirring until melted and well combined. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
6. Toss the cooked fettuccine into the skillet, mixing until the pasta is coated in the creamy sauce.
7. Serve warm, garnished with chopped fresh parsley.
