A delicious and hearty alternative that combines the sweet flavors of pike with creamy beer. Perfect for enjoying during beer night! Preparation Time: 30 minutes
Serving Size: 4 servings
Ingredients:
- 400 g pike fillets
- 1 dl breadcrumbs
- 1 dl cream
- 1 egg
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 1 tbsp fresh dill, chopped
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 4 burger buns
- 4 slices of cheddar cheese
- Lettuce, tomato, and mayonnaise for serving
Instructions:
1. Finely chop the pike fillets and place them in a bowl.
2. Add breadcrumbs, cream, egg, onion, dill, salt, and pepper. Mix all ingredients well.
3. Shape the mixture into four patties.
4. Heat a skillet over medium heat and cook the patties for about 5-6 minutes on each side, until they are beautifully golden brown.
5. Place cheddar cheese slices on top of the patties and cover the skillet with a lid to allow the cheese to melt.
6. Lightly toast the burger buns in the skillet.
7. Assemble the burgers: place lettuce on the bottom half of the bun, add the pike patty, tomatoes, and mayonnaise. Top with the other half of the bun.
8. Serve immediately with Late Red beer.
