Ingredients:
- 200 g butter- 250 g sugar
- 3 eggs
- 300 g all-purpose flour
- 100 ml milk
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp nutmeg
- 1/2 tsp ginger
- 200 g dried fruits (e.g., raisins, apricots)
- 100 g nuts (e.g., walnuts or almonds)
Instructions:
1. Preheat the oven to 175°C (350°F) and grease a cake pan.2. Cream the butter and sugar together until light and fluffy.
3. Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
4. Gradually mix in the flour, baking powder, spices, and milk alternately until the batter is smooth.
5. Gently fold in the dried fruits and nuts.
6. Pour the batter into the greased cake pan and smooth the top.
7. Bake in the oven for about 40-50 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
8. Allow the cake to cool before serving.
