Ingredients:

- 200 g butter
- 200 g sugar
- 4 eggs
- 300 g all-purpose flour
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1 tsp ginger
- 1/2 tsp cloves
- 100 g dried fruits (e.g., apricots, raisins)
- 100 g nuts (e.g., walnuts, almonds)
- 100 ml milk
- 1 tsp vanilla sugar

Instructions:

1. Preheat the oven to 175°C (350°F). Grease and flour a cake pan.
2. Beat the butter and sugar until fluffy. Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
3. In a separate bowl, mix together the flour, baking powder, cinnamon, ginger, and cloves. Gradually add this dry mixture to the butter mixture, alternating with the milk.
4. Fold in the dried fruits, nuts, and vanilla sugar until the batter is smooth.
5. Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan and smooth the top.
6. Bake in the oven for about 40-50 minutes or until the cake is cooked through (test with a toothpick).
7. Allow the cake to cool in the pan for a few minutes before transferring it to a wire rack to cool completely.
