This delicious and quick pasta dish is a perfect option for a weeknight dinner. The creamy sauce combines flavor and nutrients with the help of spinach.

Ingredients:

- 300 g pasta (e.g. spaghetti or penne)
- 200 g fresh spinach
- 200 ml heavy cream
- 100 g grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- Salt to taste
- Black pepper to taste
- Fresh basil for garnish (optional)

Instructions:

1. Cook the pasta in salted boiling water according to the package instructions. Drain the pasta and reserve some cooking water.
2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for about a minute.
3. Add fresh spinach to the skillet and cook until wilted.
4. Pour the heavy cream into the skillet with spinach and mix well. Allow the sauce to heat up.
5. Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese until melted and combined.
6. Season the sauce with salt and black pepper to taste.
7. Add the cooked pasta to the sauce and mix well. If the sauce is too thick, you can add a little reserved cooking water.
8. Serve immediately and garnish with fresh basil if desired.
