A refreshing and nutritious salad that combines sauerkraut, apple, and nuts. Perfect as a side dish or a light meal. Preparation Time: 15 minutes
Serving Size: 4
Ingredients:
- 2 dl sauerkraut
- 1-2 apples (preferably tart)
- 1 dl sour cream
- 100 g cottage cheese
- ½ dl nuts (e.g., walnuts or almonds)
Instructions:
1. Drain the sauerkraut and place it in a large bowl.
2. Wash the apples thoroughly and cut them into small cubes. Add the apple cubes to the bowl with sauerkraut.
3. Add the sour cream and cottage cheese to the bowl. Mix all ingredients well together.
4. Roughly chop the nuts and add them to the salad. Mix again.
5. Serve the salad immediately or let it marinate in the refrigerator for half an hour before serving.
