- 100 g white wine (or water/vegetable broth)
- 1000 g sauerkraut
- 200 g cream cheese (or blue cheese)
Instructions:
1. Pour the sauerkraut into a large pot, saucepan, or baking dish.
2. Add the white wine (or alternative liquid) to the sauerkraut.
3. Simmer over low heat until the sauerkraut is tender, about 20-25 minutes.
4. Stir in the cream cheese (or blue cheese) and heat until the cheese is completely melted.
5. Serve the cheesy sauerkraut alongside grilled meat, sausages, and crusty bread.
