A delicious and hearty dish combining celeriac, tart apples, and crunchy hazelnuts, perfect for complementing holiday ham. This delightful meal is sure to become a favorite for future Christmas gatherings!

Ingredients:

- 600 g celeriac
- 2 tart apples
- 200 g blue cheese
- 2 dl cream
- 2 dl milk
- 2 eggs
- 100 g hazelnuts
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 tsp nutmeg

Instructions:

1. Peel and chop the celeriac and apples. Boil the celeriac pieces in salted water for about 10 minutes until soft. Drain.
2. Mash the cooked celeriac and apples in a bowl.
3. Add cream, milk, eggs, crumbled blue cheese, black pepper, and nutmeg to the mash. Mix well.
4. Pour the mixture into a greased baking dish.
5. Chop the hazelnuts and sprinkle them on top of the bake.
6. Bake at 180°C (350°F) for about 30-40 minutes until the top is beautifully golden brown.
7. Let the bake rest for a moment before serving.
