Ingredients:
- 500 g fresh Baltic herring
- 2 tbsp salt
Instructions:
1. Clean the herring, leaving the heads and backbone intact.
2. Rinse the fish under cold water.
3. Place the herring in a sturdy freezer bag.
4. Add the salt to the bag and shake it gently to ensure the herring is evenly coated.
5. Allow the herring to marinate in the refrigerator for 1-2 hours before serving.
