Ingredients:
- 5 eggs (preferably free-range)
- 1 cup sunflower oil
- 1 cup warm milk
- 250 g halloumi, grated
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 packet baking powder
- Salt to taste
- Black pepper to taste
Instructions:
1. Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F).
2. Crack the eggs into a bowl and whisk them well.
3. Add the oil and warm milk to the eggs and mix until smooth.
4. Grate the halloumi and fold it into the batter.
5. Stir in the flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, and black pepper. Mix until all ingredients are well combined.
6. Pour the batter into a greased cake pan.
7. Bake in the oven for about 40-45 minutes or until the cake is golden brown and cooked through.
8. Allow the cake to cool before serving.
